TheLicensing Coordinatoris responsible for a variety of compliance-related activities, including, but not limited to, acquiring and maintaining licensure for all entities and branches across the operating footprint, statute and ordinance research, data entry, document maintenance, and assisting the Compliance Manager with all other administrative tasks as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Obtain required regulatory lending licenses for all new branch offices and branch relocations, including, but not limited to, state licenses, zoning compliance certificates, local permits, and village, town, city, and/or county licenses.
  • Complete and submit all documentation required for the renewal of regulatory licenses.
  • Conduct licensing and zoning research for branch relocations and de novos to determine location requirements and favorability prior to lease execution.
  • Submit new, transition, amendment, and surrender filings via NMLS (Nationwide Multistate Licensing System).
  • Distribute licenses to the field as new certificates are issued.
  • Surrender licenses for branch consolidations in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the filing of annual reports through the Secretary of State and various regulators across the footprint.
  • Assist with maintenance of entity insurance licenses and collaborate with ILSA and HR to ensure the Designated Responsible Producer is adequately licensed.
  • Assist with maintaining branch-specific ETAPS permits for electronic titling purposes.
  • Provide support in the maintenance of RMC's licensing system.
  • Assist with the monitoring of all compliance related group emails.
  • Assist in the creation of spreadsheets and reports.
  • Provide support in coordinating with executive officers to schedule fingerprinting, run background checks, pull credit reports, complete questionnaires, etc., in conjunction with license filings and notification requirements across the footprint.
  • Coordinate with insurance broker and field staff to maintain bonds associated with licensing and notary requirements.
  • Professional internal and external customer service support as required.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Assist with the compliance awareness campaign(s) to ensure Company employees understand the Compliance program.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by the Director of Compliance.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Two plus (2+) years of experience required in an administrative role with a compliance, quality, or legal team.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient 10-key/data entry skills.
  • Must pass a drug screen, criminal background, and credit check.
