We have a need for a Superintendent to manage work focused on Marine bridge construction in Hopewell, VA. Pile driving experience required. Ability to travel to other Marine projects in VA and MD as needed.
SUMMARY
Supervise the skilled trade crews and manage onsite construction activities for parts of large, extensive Marine projects.
Collaborating with the Project Engineer and Project Manager, this role is responsible for the direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Project, focusing on Safety, Production, and Profitability.
Supervisory responsibilities, in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, include: planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Responsibilities may include assisting with interviewing and training employees.
