Recruitment Administrator, Special Services- One Year Only

Description

Plans, manages, and coordinates multifaceted program activities associated with the recruiting and retention of employees delivering special education services; develops and implements strategic equal opportunity program practices that build and maintain qualified, diverse candidate pools; defines, tracks, reports, and implements change to recruitment metrics and systems to provide the highest level of best practice in PreK-12 special education hiring; collaborates across the Division with school-based administrators and central office staff; creates and participates in extended outreach initiatives to national and local community programs to target audiences and source applicants; creates presentations and contributes to the design of recruitment marketing materials that communicate the FCPS brand; ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, policies, and mandates; provides budgeting assessment and recommendations; exercises leadership to design, create, implement, assess, and revise programs or activities of the section.

Qualifications

Required

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in human resources, education, public administration, business administration, or related field.
  • Six (6) years of progressively more responsible experience in education, recruitment, human capital management, or related field.
    • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
  • Knowledge of the theory, procedures, practices, methods, materials, regulations, and legislation related to recruitment and human resources.
  • Familiarity with the principles and methods of public human resources and/or educational institution administration.
  • Knowledge of regulations, laws, policies, procedures, and mandates related to civil rights, employee relations, and the PreK- 12 environment.
  • Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to hire and retain employees.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management to facilitate change, implement strategy, and accomplish program objectives.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of stakeholders and market FCPS branding to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with personnel assigned to schools, other departments, public entities, and citizens.
  • Ability to interpret and assist with developing and modifying regulations, policies, and processes.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred
  • Master's degree.
  • Administrative or supervisory experience in a PreK-12 environment.
  • Postgraduate educational license.
  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification.

Salary Range

$107,544 - $163,603
