LOCATION: MCB Quantico, VA Travel: Up to 25% Valiant is seeking an individual to serve as an experienced
Doctrine Analyst for the MAGTF Staff Training Program (MSTP).
Responsibilities:
• Provide analysis, collection, management and maintenance of MSTP-assigned doctrinal publications and pamphlets.
• Prepare, edit and publish accurate, relevant, and well-coordinated doctrinal publications and pamphlets.
• Write text, create graphics, and provide input to multimedia development.
• Develop new or revised publications and pamphlets beginning with the initial directive and continuing until final review and staffing is completed.
• Coordinate with a writing team and other members of the MSTP staff to ensure accuracy and continuity across publications and to develop doctrine publications in accordance with MSTP leadership guidance and USMC-mandated template, format, and writing style to include reconciling comment resolution matrices (CRMs).
• Participate in various meetings that affect or have an impact on the outcome of doctrinal products.
• Conduct required collaboration to ensure doctrine publications are comprehensive, relevant, current, and fully synchronized across all centers of
excellence and warfighting proponents.
• Maintain administrative and historical files, in accordance with TECOM’s Policy and Standards Division, Doctrine Branch standard operation procedures.
• Maintain an ongoing list of references and copies of any copyrighted information and copyright releases.
• Support development of an engagement plan with TECOM’s Policy and Standards Division, Doctrine Branch.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of a doctrine writing guide that addresses both USMC doctrinal publication and MSTP
pamphlet processes and procedures.
