Position Description
Are you interested in spending your summer gaining valuable real-world hands-on marketing and business intelligence experience? If so, joining CGI's Internship Program as a Marketing and Business Intelligence Intern could be an excellent opportunity for you.

As an intern at CGI, you will join one of our many teams and be given the opportunity to make a direct impact on a broad variety of projects and help to co-create and deliver successful solutions to our clients in a collaborative team setting. Here, you can explore your full potential - not confined by borders or pre-defined paths. You're empowered to tackle problems and brainstorm ideas in your own unique way.

What you'll do (assignments may include responsibilities in one or more of the following areas):
* Report directly to a Sector Vice President and dotted line to two directors of business development
* Conduct in-depth competitive and market research, researching and analyzing business, competitor and customer data
* Leverage social media and other tools, technologies to gain market and customer insights
* Support primary and secondary information collection, organization, and analysis activities
* Transform and communicate information into actionable strategic insights
* Have responsibility across multiple, concurrent projects
* Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of research processes, tools, and templates
* Prepare reports and presentations of findings

What you'll need:
* Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college pursuing bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e.: Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar major with market, intelligence and technical content)
* Curiosity, initiative and hunger for learning
* Excellent problem solving, written and oral communication skills
* Flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity
* Ability to work within a collaborative environment
* Based in the the Arlington, Ballston office with some local travel to Fairfax, Virginia or Washington, DC. Some virtual work may be possible.
* Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
